This episode is part of a special series, Lady Balls Presents: Not Yo Mama's Activism. If there was ever a time to make our voices heard this is it so we’ve teamed up with Sameside, an organization putting the PARTY back in politics by offering people the opportunity to create and participate in meaningful activism experiences. Leading up to the mid terms and beyond our goal is to help educate on the issues that matter most and show you simple and fun ways you can make a difference.

Today we're joined by Bria Little and Erin Douglass, co-founders of Nasty Woman Portraits, a feminist organization that uses photography to promote badass feminist leaders and support causes that benefit the lives of women. NWP recreates iconic portraits of some of the worlds most powerful women featuring YOU as them. There's also music, drinks and tons of new people to meet at their once in a lifetime events! Tune in to hear us discuss; why they got so fired up to create NWP, it's mission, the importance of aligning with all marginalized voices, how every small act of activism makes a difference, what to expect at their live events and tons of recs for books and binge watches - deep and not so deep ;) Let your nasty side out to play ladies!

If being unapologetically hardworking, outspoken, and passionate, means she’s nasty, then Erin Douglass has been nasty since day one.
