What's it like to hit the campaign trail for yourself when you've never done it before? Tune into today's episode to find out! We get a peak behind the curtain with Laura Legacki. A registered nurse by profession, Laura has dedicated years of service toward youth in education. She's currently serving as Vice President and school board liaison for her PTO and for the past 7 years she’s been involved with Yolo County CASA as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for children in the foster care system, specializing in children with specific educational needs. It is this community experience, dedication, and passion that drove her to further serve teachers and students by running for school board...even if it means her laundry game is not always on point ;) Listen in to get inspired! Who knows? Maybe YOUR name will be next on the ballot!
